weak, or just a waste of time ?
How about this- I am in SB with T8s (clubs). EP raises, 3 after him call. I call because this is not to aggressive of a field and I think there is more potential gain than I will lose here. Flop is J 9 2 , two spades. I check, raiser bets, all others fold. Q of spades hits on turn. I check, He checks behind me. (Hmm...) Blank on the river. He bets, I call. He shows me a set of queens and I take the pot with my straight. Now I'm well aware that this was a very loose call before the flop, but other than that, how did I play the hand ? |

I like the turn play as long as you plan on check-raising. You certainly have to raise on the river. What are you afraid of given his play? |

I think your pre-flop call was very marginal and given how the hand was played out, I think you should have mucked. You called with marginal hand out of position and didn't know where you were during the entire hand. |
