Book on heads-up play
A friend of mine recently asked me if there was a book on heads-up play. Shamefully, I had to confess that I didn't know of one. He wants it for both live and tourney play (not a heads-up tourney, end game).
Can anyone help? Thanks,

The best advice I've ever read on HU is in HPFAP but its only about 7 or 8 pages in there and is probably the most helpful to someone who never really gave much thought to HU.

When I was new to these forums (possibly under a different name, I don't remember) I asked this question too.
It'd be pretty impossible to write a book on headsup play. It is very player dependent. You need to have a good read on your opponent, be very aggressive, and play good poker. Learning to play heads up isn't really something one can learn from a book. First, you need to become a good poker player. Then you need to just get experience playing headsup once you are a good poker player. Mason discusses shorthanded and headsup play in one of his poker essay volumes, as well as the excellent part in HEPFAP.
