Default Kerry Receives Some Foreign Endorsements

I think it's hilarious how the foreign leaders endorsement claim is blowing up in Kerry's face. The DNC ought to put a muzzle on that guy as he seems to be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory the more he yaps. About his latest endorsements:

Mahathir Mohamad, who as Malaysia's soft-on-terrorism prime minister last year urged fellow Muslim leaders to achieve a "final victory" over the Jews who "rule the world by proxy," today endorsed Kerry's effort to defeat President Bush.

"I think Kerry would be much more willing to listen to the voices of people and of the rest of the world," Mahathir, who retired in October after 22 years in power, told the Associated Press.

"But in the U.S., the Jewish lobby is very strong, and any American who wants to become president cannot change the policy toward Palestine radically," he said.

and

Socialist leader Jose Luis Rodriquez Zapatero, who won an upset election victory over Spain's Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar on Sunday on a platform of withdrawing Spain's troops from Iraq, has endorsed Sen. John Kerry in the upcoming presidential election.

"I think Kerry will win. I want Kerry to win," Zapatero told Britain's Guardian newspaper, just four days before he swept to victory riding a wave of anti-U.S. feeling sparked by the al Qaeda train bombings in Madrid.

Two days earlier Zapatero had blasted Aznar's alliance with the U.S., calling the Bush administration "the most reactionary American administration in recent times."

"We're aligning ourselves with Kerry," Zapatero proclaimed to the International Herald Tribune. "Our alliance will be for peace, against war, no more deaths for oil, and for a dialogue between the government of Spain and the new Kerry administration."

Has Arafat, Crazy Kim, or Putin endorsed Kerry yet? We know Chirac and Schroeder want Kerry to win . What about bin Laden?

Kerry is backing away for these endorsements btw as he apparently can see what a tremendous gaffe he's made and how the Republicans are sure to play it up:

Kerry gets unwelcome support

Ex-Malaysian chief backs Democrat

Los Angeles Times

WASHINGTON — Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry received the backing of an unwelcome source this weekwhen former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said that he supports him.

Mahathir, who had been in power 22 years, retired in October following condemnation of remarks he made that “Jews rule the world by proxy.”

Kerry foreign policy adviser Rand Beers issued a news release saying that the senator from Massachusetts rejects any association with Mahathir, “an avowed anti-Semite whose views are totally deplorable.”

Still, Mahathir's backing kept attention focused on a controversial statement Kerry made last week. Speaking to donors at a fund-raiser in Florida, Kerry said unnamed “leaders” had told him they wanted him to defeat President Bush. Kerry later said he was talking about “people around the world” at “different levels.”

Kerry's remark that drew a flurry of criticism from Republicans, including President Bush, who called on the presumptive Democratic nominee to name the officials.

On Thursday, Kerry's campaign sought to clarify his stance about support from abroad.

“This election will be decided by the American people, and the American people alone,” Beers said. “It is simply not appropriate for any foreign leader to endorse a candidate in America's presidential election. John Kerry does not seek, and will not accept, any such endorsements.”

Kerry's also repudiated the Zapetero's endorsement and urged him to keep his troops in Iraq. Another Kerry flip flop apparently,

We're working on getting John some more endorsements -both foreign and domestic.

I think Charles Manson is about to give him the thumbs up.

Default Al Queda endorses George W. for president

the group that is claiming responsiibility for the Spain Train bombings has made it clear they want George W. in the whitehouse in 2004 -

to quote from the article -

The statement said it supported President Bush in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."

"Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization."

If that isn't a ringing endorsement for George W, I don't know what is...
