Default tricky players or just crazy

Just came back from good trip to Trop/AC playing small stakes - only 4th time to B&M (+5 BB/hr this trip). Was just flabbergasted at what cards people would play.

People capping pre-flop and then folding immediately to any bet on the flop. The swings were enormous - the guy next to me lost 50BB in 2 hours - never saw a bet he couldn't raise.

Came to the conclusion that the only way for me to comfortably play non-monster hands at these table is in LMP or LP. There seems to be no way to guess what some of these guys might have - anything from AA to 64o

Do I get better at this?

yes, and then you will start to crave tables like this the way a junkie craves his next hit.
