Default Flopped quads, non-standard play

Party Poker 2/4 (10 handed)
Hero has Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and is BB

MP1 limps, MP3 limps, Button folds, SB folds, Hero checks

Flop(3 1/2 SB): Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero bets, MP1 raises, MP3 calls, Hero 3-bets, MP1 calls, MP3 calls

Turn(6 1/4 BB): J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets, MP1 folds, MP3 raises, Hero 3-bets, MP3 calls

River(12 1/4 BB): K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, MP3 3-bets, Hero caps, MP3 calls

Well done. Sounds like your opponent is quite aggressive, and most players will not put you on a queen here. Against this particular opponent, I think you extracted the most possible.

Man, it sounds like you knew your opponent well. I flopped quads not too long ago and could not get any action. I made something like 10BB as I did not know my opponents. Congrats on a great hand and an even better read.

It sounds like you got lucky against a guy who was a bit maniacal. How he could keep raising you when he may have been drawing dead aftr the flop is beyond me. Maybe once to see if you are for real, but more than that is foolish IMO.
