Default Hand bugging me: $25 NL Stars

PokerStars $25 NL table, 9 at the table, blinds .10/.25

I am in small blind and am dealt 8h 8s. This is my second hand at this table and I have no read on anyone yet. I haven't played with anyone at this table before, so I have no notes.

EP ($5) and EMP ($23) limp, MP ($29) raise to .75. Myself ($25) and limpers call. 4 to see the flop with $3 in the pot.

Flop comes 7s 7c Js.

I and EP check. EMP bets .50c MP raiser raises to $1.50.

I think about 10 sec and fold, as do the others. Was this the right play, or did I play this weak-tight? If I thought he wasn't paired, I probably would have reraised him, but I couldn't be sure. I was fairly certain he hadn't caught a set of sevens.

Thanks, and hopefully I can answer some questions too...

Ootz

easy fold, you didnt raise preflop so you have no control.
You have a bet and a riasie in front of you after you checked, lay it down and fight another day.
