Yet another hand from the 2+2 SNG
Everyone who was watching probably knows what hand this is.
4 left, 200/400/50. Stacks are 2620 (dcj311), 4572 (me), 6560 (thomastem), 13248 (wayabvpar). I'm in the BB, looking down at Ah 3s. Folded to thomas in the SB, he raises to 1200. I reraise him to 2400, suspecting a steal (anyone push it in here?) He calls. Flop comes Qs As 4s. Thomas pushes all in, he has me covered by about 2000 or so at this point, he could get called and lose and still pull it off with some luck. I have two choices. Go all in or fold. Thoughts? |

I thought it was just 3 of us? I did show my hand for all the observers to see those that weren't there feel free to put me on a hand.

Re: Yet another hand from the 2+2 SNG
I wouldn't call the flop. After getting your reraise called, he has a hand. It's reasonable to assume your three kicker is in trouble here.
On the flip side, I might have just shoved all-in before the flop. al |

Thinking exactly the way Al Capone did I folded after a LOT of thought, thomas was kind enough to show his 7d Jc. Well done sir.

Re: Yet another hand from the 2+2 SNG
Moving in shows him you are not pissing around, he can't push you out later so he has to have a hand to beat you. He will fold almost all hands that are worse than yours if you push and possibly a few that are better. Well played by thomastem. The 40% of your stack rule says you should push in here or fold. Break it at your peril! Tim |

Re: Yet another hand from the 2+2 SNG
I saw this and expected to see the hand you knocked me out with...that was just sick and wrong! You played it perfectly, and I was so annoyed that my bullets got cracked (AGAIN) that I called off the last half of my stack. I went on to get busted in another SnG 10 minutes later by losing with KK to AK and then AT to Q2 (!!!!). It certainly wasn't my night...

Re: Yet another hand from the 2+2 SNG
I don't call this or raise this preflop. A3 sucks, even if he is trying to steal(are you positive he is stealing?)
Get away from this hand. Your stack isn't too bad in relation to blinds. If you play back at him and he calls, now you are in trouble. You should have waited for a better time to make a move, save those chips. -Just this Crackas 2 cents.- |
