I was playing at intercasino yesterday for the first time at 1/2 to get in my 250 hands. I was doing ok (up 4bb's) when I get a message that stated would I like to go to an empty table and play and they would pay me $10 an hr. Sounded like a good deal so I said yes. I was sat at a 2/4 table and was heads up in a couple minutes with another player. Now I'm still new at this and have never played heads up before. Needless to say I lost about half my total deposit in 10 minutes. But I got a credit of a buck and a half for my time. What a deal!

That sucks. Pretty sure the minimun to prop there is 2/4 and if your aren't good heads up being the first to a table isn't always the best idea

At least now they tell you what kind of game you’re going to.
The first time I played on the site I was in a $2/$4 Hold ‘em game, checking the place out. The pop-up asked if I’d like to earn $10/hr for starting a game and I clicked Yes. I was taken out of the game I was in ... bahhh ... and plunked down in a $20/$40 Omaha high. |

hey there,
Next time choose the option to sit out until the table fills up. |

You don't get paid after you sit out. I also think they take the full rake shorthanded. I did this once for about 15 minutes. I made like two dollars in pay and heads up we paid like seven dollars in rake. I would not suggest anyone try this. The exception would be if you loved short handed games and was going to play anyway.

I've sat there once, but bailed when someone showed up and got paid 10 cents, though I had been there for about 15 minutes, so it appears not really. Anyone else have info on this?

I sat at a 20-40 table for 30 minutes and made approximately 2 dollars. I, at least, did not get paid without an opponent

I think they changed the pay for no play. At first I thought I got paid even though I did not play. That last time I think I got nothing if I left the table prior to playing.

The secret to getting paid to play is to take the full amount of time allowed for every action. Since ICP gives you maybe 30 seconds, you can make one hand draw out to 5 minutes. If your opponent is also being paid to play he will probably catch on and do the same thing. And if he doesn't play ball, he will probably get so sick of you wasting his time he will leave. And as I understand it, you do get paid to play even if you are at the table by yourself.
Most likely there are probably better ways to make money, but I just like the idea of screwing the site. |

I understand it, you do get paid to play even if you are at the table by yourself. [/ QUOTE ] This used to be the case - so you could sit at the table and hope that nobody joined you. Unfortunately, they changed the rules. |
