Best 5 man rotation in baseball plus outfield that doesn't suck equals success.

If they don't keep that cement-head Byrne out of the lineup, the A's ain't goin' anywhere.

Best run team in baseball (except when it comes to playoff management).

However, the chance of them beating the cash of the big guys is slim.

They're now Tejada-less and Foulke-less, and it seems the Red Sox and Yankees have upgraded, but those short series are crap-shoots, so who knows.

Mery Xmas!

My Lord Boris, have you hit the egg nog too soon? Without Tejada and Foulke, the ONLY chance of winning the World Series is if Chavez hits .658 with 106 home runs and 296 RBI. I think those are all records and would immediately put him in the hall. I don't see them making the playoffs this year. I think Seattle will win the west, with Anaheim a close second. Of course, the wild card will be the Red Sox again.

Joe

P.S. Merry Christmas to all. May you all flop Royals (just not against me).
