Rollercoaster Hand
I had to post this "interesting" hand from a 2 table SNG last night on PS.
I am in MP with about T2200. There are about 12 left of the original 18 and blinds are at 50/100 no ante. Chip leader at the table and on the BB has about T3800 and there are a couple of short stacks with around T600 or so. I look down to find A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. It is folded to me and I raise T200 to make it 3. Folded to small blind who has around T650. He goes all in. Chip leader in BB goes all in I assume to steal my raise and isolate the SB. I really didn't hesitate much as this was a great opportunity to double up and set sail to the final table so all in I go. The cards turn over and we see... My AA SB K9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Flop comes out K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Now I am behind both the SB and BB with two pair and a set. Turn is the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Now we have two boats against my two pair...Chip leader is Way ahead and SB is dead to the case 9 or a K River A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Justice is served. The "old" heheh Chip leader showed some class when his only comment was..."One more card and I would have had a stroke. It was a rollercoaster". So true. Just a fun hand that I wanted to post. |
