Default Bobby Baldwin

I was watching a cable show. I think it was called "Why the House Always Wins." Anyhow, Bobby Baldwin was telling a story of how many years ago the poker game he was playing in got held up. He said "...to make matters worse, I had been losing."
If, God forbid, your poker game gets held up, wouldn't you perfer it was on a night when you were losing than a night when you were the big winner?

What he probably meant was that the hold-up stopped the game and thus his chance to recoup his losses.
