Anyone do anything different here?

Gomez22 has K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and is EP1 Gomez22 raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds Flop(7 SB): J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks, Gomez22 bets, Button calls, SB calls Turn(5 BB): 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, Gomez22 bets, Button folds, SB calls River(7 BB): K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] SB checks, Gomez22 bets, SB folds Just wondering if anyone else bets the river with 4 suited cards on the board, and....... is this a value bet? Results later.....

Hmmm...
Sure many low limit players call with crap hands all the way, but wouldn`t the majority of them call if they had as much as 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in this situation? So if he do call you, I do believe you`re beaten. And if you`re not beaten, how often would he call? I can see the point in betting this river.

I would check call. HU most opponents will bluff at you on this board if you check to them, they assume you dont have a heart. If they do have a heart you only have to pay one bet to see it.

I thought hard about that, Brian, but to tell the truth, he was sorta weak, and I thought he MIGHT drop a low heart, so I bet it....... don't know what he had, but he DID fold.... Maybe he thought my PF raise signaled AA or QQ or JJ or AQ, and I had a heart, since I wasn't afraid to bet....... I just thought against this guy, betting was my best chance to win it. Against an aggressive player, I'd check/call.

I do have it backwards. I wouldnt like it but I would close my eyes and bet. Another lesson why you shouldnt play and post at the same time [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
