Default New Orleans Poker

Next month, I'm going to New Orleans for a few days. Does anyone know anything about the Blue Dog Poker Room at Harrah's, games spread, quality and speed of play, etc. Thanks for the help.

As I remember:

Rake 10% max of $4

very loose, $6-12 half omaha high, half hold'em games

well managaed, but no food comps

Recently, I visited that room, but didn't play, because they tend to spread half and half games. I put myself on a 10/20 Holdem list, came back to check and found out the list had been scratched, in favor of 10/20 half Holdem, half Omaha Hi Lo. Almost all their games are half and half Holdem and Omaha Hi Lo.

When I was there, 10/20 was the highest game being spread. You run into different things, in different places. That is the first room, I've visited, where half and half games are featured, to that extent. I have a theory on the reason, but that's another subject.

Please let us know about your theory. I'm very curious.
