Station Casino poker rooms
I'm looking into driving down to Vegas next week, and it looks like the Station hotels have the best deals for decent hotels at that time. Any info on their poker rooms, and reccomendations on which of them is best appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Station Casino poker rooms
I play at Sunset Station sometimes. They always have a 3-6-9 game and Ive also played 4-8 and 6-12 there. Decent room and if you use their players card they comp you $1.00 an hour towards food. They also run tournys at 10:00am weekdays.

Re: Station Casino poker rooms
I believe that all Station casino rooms have the same comp policy -- at least it appeared that way when I last played at them.
Sunset station is a favorite with many but has a very different structure, 3-6-9. My favorite of the stations is Boulder Station. They have very cheap blinds and amazing action. For example, the 6-12 game is $1 and $3 blinds. I guess it is somewhat the same as Sunset station in terms of you can play more hands cheaply with a small preflop investment, but the river bet is still only double the size of the flop bet (not triple). |
