Default o8 in ac

Recently moved to NYC and thinking of visiting AC. Whats the best/cheapest way to get there without a car?

Also, are there any low limit O8 games around (bankroll still suffers from the move)

THanks.

Busses from Port Authority leave every half hour (Greyhound I think...I don't live there but have read it on here) and they are cheap bc the casino gives you cash back. The Taj Mahal is prob your best bet for Omaha8...at low limits, they have 2-4 with a half kill and 5-10 with a full kill (this can get a little wild so if your b-roll is very small, I'd avoid it though it is usually action packed). Then limits jump to much higher. Get a Taj card, you get paid by the hr to sit and play, and you can use this for food. Be sure to give the floorman your card when sitting down and clock out when you leave at the podium in the back (otherwise you won't get credit).

GL,

Jeff

I grabbed a bus from Port Authority 2 weeks ago. Was $27 round trip, and they gave us back vouchers for $15 (in coins) that were only redeemable at Trump Plaza, and for which you would have to wait on a long line (i passed). It was an Academy bus and you have to check the schedule, because they leave AC every 1/2 hour, but from different casinos. Apparently there are other kinds of buses (Greyhound?) that go from PA to the AC Bus Depot, but I don't really know about those.

Didn't play Omaha -- just takes too damn long. but played HE at the trop, taj and borg, and found beatable games at all, except the 10-20 at the borg, although i'd like to attribute that to lousy cards.

They have O/8 at the Borgata. Since many of the dealers were painfully slow at Hold'Em I passed on the Omaha game the time I was there shortly after they opened. Hopefully the dealers have improved. They had lists for 3-6, 5-10 and 10-20 Omaha/8.
