I have. However my good friend and poster/lurker Fred G Sanford usually plays 24-36 hour sessions. He doesnt need sleep he drinks the blood of christian babies to keep energized. I just drink Red Bull |

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
Why do I feel like the use of his full name including middle initial are making him somewhat of a folk legend?

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
Even Daunte Culpeper made a Fred Sanford mention in reference to his current injury.

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
You've made me feel strangely young even though I doubt we're 3 years apart. I'm thrilled by this. And no, I never watched Sanford and Son. If the title we're so intuitive I wouldn't even know that Redd guy was Sanford.

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
I have. a few years ago, several times. once when i was with a friend who was playing a marathon session as well. i got a couple hours of sleep in while he played. then i came back in to play more.
also, one night when my sleep/work schedule was severely different to that of most other people, i did this. i was used to working overnight shifts, and had a night off. i went to play at the local casino. when the night wound down and the room closed (approx. 430am) i went to the car and took a little nap. then came back in around 10am after the room opened up again. |

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
When I used to play 6/12 there was one regular who would constantly fall asleep at the table in between hands, and the dealer would have to prod him to pick up his cards, which he would then usually fold and go back to sleep.
He was a long haul truck driver. |

Re: SLEEPING IN THE CAR
there was a 5-10 stud player at mohegan who would do the same thing. He would get to the room friday afternoon and not leave until sunday evening and around saturday/sunday early AM he would start falling asleep between hands which must've been difficult because he played almost all of them. I'd see dealers deal him out asleep for their entire shifts.
