Hey guys....I went thru one hell of a nasty binge this week...from
Sat. to Tues. of this week - pretty brutal -

now I've been dry for about 24 hrs...doing the best I can to get thru
this - my chest hurts a little, but I've eaten and drank everything
that could help (like gatorade or a Red Bull) - taken an asprain, and
some Pepto...and I don't think I'm going to go thru any DT's or anything.

and now tonight, I'm going to my first AA meeting - maybe I won't be
so depressed if I can stop drinking.... - truth is, I think the alcohol is a symptom of depression then vice versa, but one thing at a time.

pretty [censored] brutal...but it's either that or just find the gun
now.. - even playing poker isn't any fun anymore.

get it together my friend and now. find things that you do that requires you to look forward to results. like learning some new skill. you are way too smart to be a drunk or druggie.

funny...I've always wanted to learn sailing, but that won't be till June here in MN...

at least a lot of the withdrawl symptoms have gone - not as much sweating or fast heartbeats or nausea...whew..
