Intertops--the WORST

I am a happy satisfied customer of several online poker sites--Stars, UB, Paradise, True, etc. The buy in, bonus, game play, and cash out process has worked well at all these. Have contacted customer support when needed and was always treated well. I have even put many hundreds of $ in and out of Party and Empire. Had a few amusing adventures with their live help and customer care people but all problems were resolved. I have posted good comments about ALL these sites on this forum during the past couple years.

Eight days ago I tried Intertops and had the WORST experiences of any site.

Was referred thru the Tell-A-Friend bonus. Its the same TAF as with Party. I signed up using the TAF15 code on their registration form and also on my Neteller deposit. Funded the account with the minimum $50 and started playing. After a couple of rounds, I checked the Cashier "bonus status" and saw that they had only put me down for a "pending bonus" of $10 instead of $25. This is the 20% new player bonus instead of the $25 TAF.

Contacting their live support person was of no help. She was totally incompetant and unable to understand the bonus accounts or what the problem was. I then began an e-mail string of messages with their "customer care" staff who were even less helpful. My referrer and I then wrote new e-mail messages to the Intertops Customer Care Manager (who never did respond thru any of this) and this started another frustrating string of e-mails.

Well----I never did get the other $15 bonus that they promised. Decided to play the rest of the 50 hands and get OUT of this site. So, I took my $50 buy in, the $10 bonus that they did give me and an entire $9 in winnings to cash out.

Except (haha)-- you can't cash out from Intertops poker. First you must transfer your $ to the sportsbook site. Wait till it gets there (mine was 2 days) then try to cash it out from there. This also took a few days. They also tried to short me by $1 on the cash out--but this was an honest mistake.

The bottom line on Intertops:

There are no additional players there. You are playing the same players and tables as at Party and Empire.

The only reason to go to this site is the bonus---which they screw some people out of.

Customer service is the WORST that I have ever encountered.

Cash out involves extra steps and extra days and delays. But they did eventually pay me the correct amount.


Very glad that I tested this site for a small amount instead of any real money. After the treatment that I got, I know not to play there again.

I know this is beating a dead horse, but I cannot get over the customer support for party/empire/interops! It seems like these companies should be making MILLIONS. Can't they hire a couple more people. At least someone to streamline their opperations. I've made three deposites and two withdraws from these sites and have had trouble three different times. You can't simply make a neteller withdrawal from Intertops?

You have to withdraw to the casino first and THEN you can withdraw to Neteller. It's not that bad once you figure it out, but the first time is a pain in the ass. Here is a link to the post I made concerning this.

First, you must transfer your poker money to their sportsbook .
Then wait till it shows up.
Then try to cash it out to Neteller.
Then wait till it shows up.

Inthacup put some detailed instructions with all the steps to do this in a post about 2 weeks ago. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
