Stab and bullet-proof vests will be given to all 2,200 ambulance crew in the capital after trials in areas with high rates of violence. On average, there is more than one attack per day on London Ambulance Service (LAS) staff.

there is nothing a criminal likes better than an unarmed citizenry. it might be interesting to obtain the number of accidental deaths caused by handguns for comparison. pat
