Unknown donks into my nut straight... just call?
This might be simple, but I'm still learning. Villain is "mid-range", 40/10/1.0ish. Guy calling behind me is a chaser. I get dealt T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB. Chaser limps UTG, Villain completes, and I check.
Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks, I bet, both call. Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain checks, I bet, both call. River: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain bets, I...? |

I just call to keep the guy behind you in and to lose the least when you are behind.

raise if the chaser likes to chase till the river but fold once he misses. if hes the type to just pay off foolishly then call. if you raise you can usually fold to a 3bet. if you cant fold to a 3bet then just call the river instead.

Folding to a 3 bet here seems terrible. This should be an easy call. I'm not sure why it didn't seem clear earlier. Thanks.
