Default Change in Plans

After listening to a few Tony Robbins tapes, incessantly looping throughout the night, I've had a vision: I vow to dress better, vote Republican, spend more time posting on this site, never, ever use Heather Has Two Mommies in class--unless I want to show how far we've fallen--and clean the house.

i now have the courage to eliminate the shift key. is this a good thing?

John on behalf of all republicans I welcome you into the fold. However simply posting on a weapons forum is not quite enough. You must actually purchase a weapon then go out and kill something. It takes time but I am sure you are qualified for this endeavor!

John, was this a religious conversion? Great web site by the way. You need to not only post on the site, you need to start purchasing guns and building up a personal arsenal. Ray's post about what guns you need is an excellent starting point.

I plan on voting republican next election and I feel good about it.

Heather should have been cloned.

Who is Tony Robbins? Is this the novelist? I'm lost.

Never dress better than your date.

Do you clean your house with a backhoe? I usually use a snow shovel; renting a backhoe is too expensive.

To make your conversion complete, whenever you say shift it should imply shifting as in 4-on-the-floor, Hurst shifters, shorting up the linkage, etc. You are forgiven for now, as this is only your first infraction. But do not backslide again or you will be ostracized from the He-man club.

Things are really looking up for you. Jimbo is right - you do need to go buy a gun. I don't think you have to kill anything tho. I might check out the sigforum. I check out glocktalk from time to time. It is easy to rile up the bigots and lunatics. It can be fun. Anyway, I think your movie contributions would scare and confuse them. "Best Movie" threads lean towards Terminator, The Waterboy, etc...

very interesting john...

as a real shrink, i should dislike robbins, if only for his unreasonable attack on psychiatry, particularly meds, but also his narcisstic claims of 100% cure of anyone with his techniques..

but i have personally benefitted from tony's tapes; as they do tend to get you up off your ass, and get you moving....which is what 67% of people in this vale of tears really need to do...

but i am amazed you wouls listen to robbins...did someone give you the tapes???

did you actually buy tapes..as i did...

John,

To celebrate your new vision and freedom I suggest that all "other topics forum fantics" join Mr. Cole at the Orleans in Las Vegas for the "Thunder & Fire Monster Truck Extravaganza" this weekend. Shows July 18- 20. Part of the billing includes:

"Five of the world’s most recognized monster trucks: Bearfoot, Monster Patrol, Carolina Crusher, American Cowboy and G-Force will participate in the three-day event. Also in the line-up are Kamikazi, a jet powered ATV and Port-O-Jet, the world’s only jet powered Port-o-John.

For the first time ever, four transformers will perform under one roof. Transtormer- the intergalactic space cop, Glactron- the transformingspace cruiser and Reptar- the outer-space axis of evil will join Megasaurus- the fire-breathing, car-eating, mechanical dinosaur.

Adult tickets are $20 and $15, children 12 and under are $10, showtimes are 7:30pm for Friday & Saturday and 2pm for Sunday. Tickets are now on sale. Service fees may apply. Tickets may be purchased by phone at 888-234-2334 or 702-284-7777, online at www.orleansarena.com, at any Coast Casinos box office or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows malls guest relations/ticket centers.

How can you resist? Seeing the jet powered Port-o-John alone is worth the ticket price.

That sounds just great. Maybe we can get dinner at the NASCAR cafe beforehand. I wish I could make it. However, if I could have swung another trip to las vegas I would have (1)gone to the 3 cushion tourn (2) Seen Jimbo-I'm sure he would go to the monster truck show tho and (3) kept the entry into the 125 limit HE tourn @ the Orleans Open I won through sheer luck. Oh well. Since I can't make it, I will send my regards to anyone who is so fortunate as to catch the car eating dinosaur.

Default Here\'s the plan

Excellent website you found, there, John.

Here's the plan: First suggest that you're gay.

(Just make sure you don't come on as a woman. Sapphist worshippers turn on the gun nuts incredibly!)

After raising up the awkwardness level by that false step, admit to being also an atheist and an anarchist.

This might actuall not go down as bad as it should but there will be enough folks to alienate, so it's worth the go.

Next up admit to being a socialist. (A communist would be too much of a giveaway! ...Besides, I hear that the term is making a comeback in swinging circles, if you know what I mean.)

As the final straw, suggest that you're an Iraqi.
