Default Tournament chip count help

I’m putting together a set of tournament chips to compliment my regular set so that I can have some side games running concurrent with a tournament. My question is does anyone know the starting chip count for the WSOP? I know you get one $5000 but the rest is unclear.

I know I need enough for 30-40 players (4 tables) plus rebuys and add-ons; with enough color so that everyone can color up as the blinds go up.

The goal is to host a couple of WSOP “practice events” this fall as well as some smaller unit tournaments (500 & 5000 chip).

Any suggestions as to chip counts and denominations?

You start with 10k in tourney chips. I beleive this year it was one 5k three 1k two 500 eight 100 and eight 50's. Im not 100% about the exact numbner of chips (how many of each everyone gets) but I am 100% sure about the starting total of chips.

1 5K = 5,000
3 1k = 3,000
2 500 = 1,000
8 100 = 800
8 50 = 400

Add that all up and you get 10,200. Something is wrong.

OK one issue solved, WSOP is 12 $25's
7 $100's
2 $500's
3 $1000's
1 $5000

I guess the simple solution is to figure out the total amount of buys and rebuys and have enough of the larger chips to cover that full amount.

Any other thoughts?
