Default stud/8 in Vegas?

This topic has been beaten to death a few times here,
but with a vacation looming, I'd like to run it up
the flagpole in hopes of finding additional games.

The Luxor claims to spread stud/8, but I've never seen a
game, or much of anything for that matter. Are there
any games other than these 3?

Palace Station, 3/6 with a kill

Palms, 2/10, 20 on the river, double qualifier

Monte Carlo, 1/5 spread limit

thanks

You're very unlikely to find a low-limit stud8 game on the Strip. On a very busy weekend, one may pop up but you'll never know where it happens to get going that day.

Is the double qualifier trips for high, or is it lower?

The qualifier for high is two pair. The game is played with an ante, I think it was a dollar
but I'm not 100% sure, and the high card brings it in instead of the more common low card bring-in.

The structure is 2/10 spread limit, $20 on 7th street, but it's basically a $10, then $20 game as nobody bets less than the max. The game is extremely aggressive,
the most aggressive I've ever seen in stud. You cannot limp in without the action coming back for $20 or $30.

The high qualifier certainly adds a wrinkle, as razz
hands such as 7,4,2 unsuited now have additional equity
as sweepers if the big pairs don't improve.

Kind of a dumpy, smoky cardroom, which is strange in that the place is only a few years old.
