Default Pressing the bubble

Villain is loose and isn't very good, the bet on the flop means he has a pair of some sort. He probably folds anything but JT+.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

BB (t4260)
UTG (t4355)
Hero (t2450)
SB (t2435)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t300</font>, SB calls t250, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: (t700) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets t300</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t2150</font>

Am I going a little too petal to the metal?

With the OESD and your read, looks like a good semi-bluff to me.

It's "pedal", BTW

This is a little more aggressive than I would advise personally. Lots of hands out there that are both beating you and that he calls with. JT, QJ, KJ, AJ, JJ, QQ-AA (slowplayed), 99, 66, maybe even something like TT. He's given you a bet that allows you to draw for a decent price. Why not just draw?
