Default JJ in a $22

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

UTG (t2225)
UTG+1 (t405)
Hero (t770)
MP2 (t750)
CO (t900)
Button (t1200)
SB (t1210)
BB (t540)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Hero raises to 175, MP2 raises to 450, Hero??

If he's decent, probably has you dominated. Any sign of previous donkicity, let it rip.

(PP<JJ, AK the like would be more inclined to push over or call IMO. Reraising 'for value' more than 1/2 his stack is either very alarming, or very stupid, or very smart trying to look very stupid [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] Without a solid read, I'd let it go)

.. and for the same reason, I quite often push AA or KK in this position, because it looks like PP < JJ, AK

lol, yes. similar to the less popular (for good reason) 'raise 1/2 your stack with 77 because it looks like AA' line [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

i think he has to dump this - still getting a few more at bats
