Default 20/40 this one can\'t be right - KTs

Villain is 20/10/1 over 50ish. Don't know anything about him.

Preflop: Surf is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP3 posts a blind of $20. CO posts a blind of $20.

Surf checks, MP3 bets, Surf folds.

Final Pot: 7.75 BB

As an aside: I haven't played full ring in forever and don't know wtf i'm doing in the first 4 positions. I've been playing raise-or-fold but my VPIP is microscopic that way. Is it okay to limp this type of stuff (and mid-pairs, Axs etc?) if the table PFR is 10-15? n00b question, i know.

You can increase your VPIP from LP. I fold KTs here, especially since the table is aggro preflop. You'll get iso-raised a lot and you'll be in lots of tough spots OOP too. I'm sure there are some who would probably raise KTs here though.

This turn fold is probably fine the way you played it, I'm not too sure what you are beating and you only have 4 outs you know for sure are clean

re-e-wind.....

So you guys are limping KTs in ep? I can see this being slightly +EV at 2/4, but I would never open-limp this at the part 20/40 for the reasons gh9801 stated....

I would usually raise preflop. I'm not sure what a flop bet accomplishes since the preflop raise + flop autobet rate in that game is something slightly north of 100%.

I dont like the limp, I'd go for a raise much more than a limp, and I like a fold more often than a raise, of course it's all dependant on game conditions, so, I guess, I dont know how i'd play it...judging by past experiences, I'd probably jack it up and pay off KJ when he three bet me PF and check raised a 10 high flop. I need some sleep bad.

I fold pre-flop. I have been in this situation alot of times and I usually end up losing a lot of money. Invest your money for better opportunities.

EDIT: I don't know why some people are recommending to raise UTG with KTs.
