Default QQ outside bubble.WhatWouldUDo?

Opinions sought:

Online Tourney had 708 players. 15 places pay.
15th--$20
10th--$60
5th--$180
1st--$1000+

17 players left, 556k in play, I had 12k, blinds 3k/5k.

I Got QQ in early position. I raised, 1 caller = monster stack on button. K flopped, and I called my last chips. I lost to KJo.

What would you do?
Hold out to make money?
Try to double up, to contend for bigger prizes at risk of missing bubble?

Consider the payout structure

I assume this was limit, since you didn't go allin. Not much you can do about it, really.

Well, I certainly wouldn't worry about trying to get $20. QQ is good enough for me. I want the $1000+ not the $20.

all in, no brainer (unless it's limit like someone suggested, but with that many players?)

the big stack could have T7o or some crap hoping to bust a short stack's A4o - hypothetically

i would have been stealing a good bit too pre flop and on the flop to avoid being the shortest stack - best time to take advantage of the bubble tightness
