Default Going to Hawaii

I'm gonna be in Maui for about a week and 1/2. Are there any cardrooms or casinos there that have Texas Hold 'em. Is it even legal there any way? If they do have it, which islands have it?

Man... you're going to Hawaii and you want to sit inside and play poker?

There is no legalized gambling of any sort in Hawaii. Not even a state lottery.

Not a fun thing to do there but play golf.

Default Exactly right

If you find yourself in Hawaii craving a poker game and you've been there for less than, say, a month, well, you may want to check into Gamblers Anonymous.

Golf, Snorkeling, Surfing, Scuba Diving, Mountain Climbing. On the Big Island, you can drive up to the observatory and throw snowballs and then back down to the beach and go snorkeling. Big game fishing (I've got a cousin who's a fishing captain in Kona if you need a contact).

Sitting under a palm tree reading Hemmingway while the surf crashes in front of you.

Believe me, you'll be okay.

Regards, Lee

The only sports I play are golf and racquetball. Since I don't need to go to Hawaii to enjoy those, I'll probably never go.

Are there any good archeological sites or ruins on Hawaii? Any world class museums of antiquities? Now that would be fun. However, since I've never really heard of any, I'm sure I'm better off going to any of hundreds of other places in the world for that kind of entertainment.

I know I'm in the minority, but from my perspective, Hawaii realy sucks.

racquetball! theyve been showing this old squash tournament they held in NY or somewhere on the tennis channel (one of the only stations i like) recently and it's just amazing. there's just gotta be applications from that for heads up poker.

as for hawaii sucking, ill post a trip report when i get back in august.

Well, the Brady Bunch found a pretty good one.
