Default AK and chasing, 76 flops two pair

no reads. everybody seems very loose, not very agg.

HAND1:
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, MP calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (8 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP checks, Hero checks.

Bad?

Turn: (4 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, MP calls, Hero calls, SB folds.

River: (7 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, MP raises, Hero calls, BB folds.

I used to be scared when there was a pair on board. Nowadays I try to think "it is less likely that someone has it". I call.

Final Pot: 12 BB

HAND2:
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, Hero checks.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, MP calls, CO folds, Button calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, MP calls, Button calls.

River: (8.75 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG raises, MP folds, Button folds, Hero calls.

Stupid bet here? can I fold?

Final Pot: 12.75 BB

Hand 1: Bet the flop there always. That isnt a scary board for AKs with a BDFD.

Hand 2: I play the same. Could be a bluff raise. Don't fold that river unless its 2 more back to you.

Hand 1: I check these flops 4 handed frequently. I'd consider a turn fold. Calls not bad though.

Hand 2: That's prefect, IMO. I would not be folding this river. Frankly it's closer to a 3-bet. B/C is the right play though

Yep, now when I think about it, fold might be better. I am not getting the pot odds to hit my overcards and they might not even be clean. The pot ain't that big so...

I'd bet the flop in hand 1, and I'd fold the turn in the small pot. Since you're overcalling, you're less likely to be ahead.

Hand 2 is solid.

What is your frequency of betting this flop do you think? Top heavy with betting or top heavy with checking it?

I'd bet the flop in hand 1

Could you make the argument for a bet for me? I mean are we trying to deny free cards to worst hands? I don't think were folding much here. I think we're getting cr some amount. Would it be better just to take a free card ourselves since were not folding any better hands like PP here?

4-handed checking, 3-handed betting I think this particular one is close. But a lot of 4-handed pots you’re just chasing your money by betting.
