well, if he's loose i like the action since you can probably get HU and you have a good hand. if he's tight i might call down instead. again, a loose player probably just has overcards or a lower pair.

It seems like 80% of the time I just make a hand like Q6 call down and I'm just spewing chips. I still do it, but it seems like it never works.

well yeah, that's why i asked about reads. otherwise it's really WA/WB
overcards are extremely difficult. |

i hate being in this spot, it seems like i usually get shown Qcrap but id say its more like 50/50? also i like the check raise in this spot and the constant aggression gives him the opportunity to fold. either way your going to be putting in a bet might as well be the one pushing, also against some opponents ill check/fold the river figuring if they are calling they have me beat, in this situation i dont like bettting the river because the only hand u beat is a T with a lower kicker. the flush made it and the 3s caught up if ur determined to see SD i would check call instead of risking getting raised

I like just betting the flop much better.
I dont like the river bet once the flush (and bottom pair) hits, id rather check/call or check/fold here. With the exception of some baby pairs (which wont be near often enough in comparison) any hand he calls this river with is beating you most likely. |

Yea that river card is a bad one for you. A case can be made for check folding it.
I don't mind the check raise if these guys aren't passives. If not for that crappy river card, I say you played it fine. |
