Default Tahoe games

Anyone know how the games are at the lake tahoe casinos? I might be going there this coming fall and wanted to get a feeling for the action.

North or South Tahoe. Every time I go to North tahoe, I find one place that is spreading a low-limit game. Usually just one table. A while ago it was the Cal-Neva. Last time I went it was the Nugget (accross the street from the Biltmore at the state line).

I think South Tahoe has some 'real' poker rooms.

Poker in Lake Tahoe is scarce. The Horizon has a good Pot Limit Hold'em game on Wed night. Gets a bit big. Seat one will be a guy named dave who is good but beatable. If a mid 40s guy named Glen plays, get out - he is a PRO. They also have a NL tourney on Tuesday nights at 6pm that costs 25.00 to enter. There is a bigger room at Harveys, the 3/6 game is very loose, the 4-8 with half kill is a bit tougher. You can win a good bit in the 3/6 if you play the top 10 hands and jam it if you have it. Hope this helped
