Flush over flush
PP $3-6 game, 4-5 players seeing most flops, with a fair amount of aggression both pre and post flop. No particualar read on the players involved in this hand as I've only been at the table a few minutes. I'm on the button with 87h. 4 limpers to me, I limp, SB folds, and the BB checks.
Flop: Ad 6h 5h. BB checks, UTG bets 3 limpers call, I raise, BB folds UTG 3 bets, 1 MP player calls, and I call. Turn: Ad 6h 5h [Th] UTG bets, MP calls, I raise, UTG calls, MP calls. River: Ad 6h 5h Th [Qd] UTG checks, MP checks, I bet, UTG raises, MP calls, and I make the crying call. UTG shows K9h for the winning hand. How was my play on each street? |

Re: Flush over flush
I would cap the flop.
Otherwise, perfect. |

Anyone else with a critique?
Thanks for the thoughts Pudley. I certainly should have value capped the flop.
Anyone else, any suggestions? |

Re: Flush over flush
Same recommendation as pudley, cap the flop with your straight flush draw, otherwise fine.

Re: Flush over flush
4-bet the flop without question. You have a huge hand and position, meaning that you can often elect to take a free card on the turn if you choose. Otherwise, sucks to be you.
