Recently I came across this picture and another that was posted at Yale Dormatories with similar claimings. Could this possibly be true, "semen related costs in the thousands", seems like BS to me.

Yes - it is true. The protein and amino acids in semen react with PVC to cause degredation and blockages in the plumbing.
