No idea wthat your opponent had, which is the kind of the problem with being oop. I fold preflop.

Like everyone else said, fold preflop, but the way it played out I might throw out a blocking bet on the river.

These are problems with playing marginal hands in EP, you wana hit the flop hard to win. defo fold in EP, as a note i may mix up my play in EP but with siuted connectors therefore being a well disguised hand but i still need to hit it hard to play after flop.
gotta learn to let them go when you dont hit.
