Default Tournament Ethics Question

If you are playing someone heads up on pokerstars...in a heads up tournament, and they get disconnected and start to give away their blinds every hand instantly, is it ethical to keep raising and taking them, or should one sit out until they return?

Default Re: Tournament Ethics Question

Of course the nice thing to do would be to sit out till they return. There is no official obligation for you to do this tho. In a multi-handed tournament, if someone is out or disconnected, I will raise their blinds all day long. Just today I had computer trouble and lost 2/3 of my stack while I sat out. Can't expect the whole table to wait. But heads up, I'd give the guy a chance. It's the nice thing to do.
