Re: (22) Set, but scarry turn card
I'm raising more preflop and pushing the flop.

Re: (22) Set, but scarry turn card
Preflop goot.
Flop I raise full pot. Turn call.. If I calculated it right, you don't have the pot odds there to call hoping the board pairs. You have 400 left, and it's only 15/30, so It's not that bad situation if you fold this. |

I'm raising more preflop [/ QUOTE ] Why? He only has 700. If he raises more, he may as well push. |

Re: (22) Set, but scarry turn card
You played it fine. I might just push the turn since you're calling his bet (got odds to fill up, and he might have have a bare ace).
edit: well ok you might not have odds to fill up but there are a lot of times he has just an ace |

Re: (22) Set, but scarry turn card
I like the pf raise, but on this scary flop I want to try and end it now, and I'm all in.

Re: (22) Set, but scarry turn card
Preflop is standard. On the flop, there are only 2 logical choices. One is to push, and the other is to check-fold. You cant bet anything but a push here. Anything < 200 is less than optimal on this type of flop, and anything > 200 but < all-in is worthless because your forced to call if he re-raises you. You are putting atleast 1/3 of your stack in. Why not push and gain the extra fold equity? I might check-fold here If I had a strong read that he was on the lone diamond draw. But I wasnt given that here. Therefore, this an easy push on the flop.

Where as a pushed Turn will only get called by better hands. |
