Default Stars 27: JJ faces reraise preflop.

Thats a pretty scary reraise. I have been pushing at least once every orbit, but got lucky and got called two hands ago when I actually had a hand (QQ). My image is probably pretty agressive, but I haven't shown down any trash.

What do you do here? Call and push a non AK flop? Push preflop? Fold? If I push, I'm probably at best a coinflip. I can't see a middle pair making this min reraise, they probably just push over my raise if anything. What hands do I get away if I push? AT-AQ? AK and QQ+ is obviously going nowhere.

Ya think? Someone in the set I just played did it with T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I called with AQs as I had position on him on the flop, it came Q22, two hearts, he moved in. I called after some deliberation. Well, no, he moved in bar 10 chips and I checked it to the river just for a laugh.

I won't have position in this hand though. Push?

I would have to have a compelling reason not to push here. Like some monumental read.

I hate these spots also, it is a monster very often I feel.

Still not often enough to fold JJ. I call and checkraise any non-A flop allin.

What if its a non A flop, and you check to the villain who pushes. Do you call?

I most likely would open push a non A flop. But that might be a mistake, no worse hands calls and no better hands folds. Hmm, your line is better. I think I prefer the preflop push though. That way I have some FE (a tiny bit at least), and if he has AA-QQ he is most likely getting all my chips anyway.
