Default I\'m trying to get a feeling for when I should start open pushing

I'm playing at the 20+2's and am fairly new to sng's so if this post sucks citanul then I'm sorry.

At what blinds level with a stack around 650-1000, do you change from limping most playable hands like two broadway, A8+, 77+, to open pushing them in Middle to Late Position?

For example in a $22,
6 players
Blinds 25/50

HeroButton [680] JTo
SB [900]
BB [1100]

I pushed.
Is that too early, just right, should I be limping or folding here instead?

thanks

You have almost 14BB left. It's too early for pushbotting. Usually people start pushing around 7-11BB. I use the 10xBB rule.

There are no easy rules when to push. I suggest you try the free lesson from the Eastbay's sng power tools to understand these variables.

And about the JTo hand.. I would make 3xBB raise if the SB and BB both had been reasonably tight.
