Logan Heights/San Diego

Hey san diego residents,


i will be in town april 9-13.


i am staying in logan heights. i have heard this is a bad neighborhood. should i pack heat, or would a streetwise city person be ok in this area?


also, what poker is reachable by public transportation/foot/taxi? $8-$16 to $20-$40.

The Lucky Lady is your only choice for a limit up to 8-16 (kill) in San Diego. Its on El Cajon Blvd. I am not sure about public transportation. Palomar Club is nearby too but it only goes 3-6.


I think you need to go to Ocean's 11 for higher limits. This is 30 miles or so north of San Diego in Oceanside.


Re: Logan Heights. The name is familiar, but I do not know exactly where it is. I do not think the bad areas of San Diego compare with that of say Los Angeles. I think common sense will get you through.
