Default Party Poker starting chips

Have played there today and starting with only 800 seems a bit odd to me. Not much room for manuevering and to be honest, i don't really feel comfortable bluffing on both the flop and the turn since that takes a huge quantity of my stack (not really, but it sure seems like it). So a few questions popped up.

Anyone played with 1500 ever moved to 800 and did just as good?
Any new tactics I should try out with lower chips or should I stop being a wuss and play my normal game?

I know I should play my own game but it's actually kinda hard. Whenever I get down to 800 in a tournament on stars I go into a shell and play when the opporunity arrise but doing that from the start on Party just seem really boring and not a fun way to play. Anyone got any tips on how to handle the different between 800 and 1500 starting chips? Iäm sure there must be an article out there somewhere that I haven't seen.

Thanks.

When I played my first bodog tourney, I found it odd that they had only 1000 starting chips, but the first 5 blind levels were 5/10, 10/20, 15/30, 20/40, and 25/50, so it didn't bother me too much, and had room to maneuver, although betting 40-50 pf just felt so wrong after being used to the stars structure.

On SNGs, they got a party poker guide in the SNG forum somewhere I think, for tournaments with that format, I guess you'd have to pick your spots a little better, because betting even 200 of your stack off is a real dent even at the low blind limits.

afaik, starting chips for most PP MTTs are 1000, for some of the higher buyin special MTTs 1500. 800 chips is just for the lowbuyin ($33-) SNGs.
