Default ($5) on bubble, short stack in BB and all in

This hand was played on PokerRoom which does not offer hand histories for sng's to my knowledge, so the chip counts are estimates. Four players left, blinds are 300-600.

I am UTG with ~ 800
Button is the big stack with ~ 8000
SB has ~ 5600
BB has ~ 600 and is forced all in.

I'm dealt AQo. Push or fold? I opted to push. The main reason being that I didn't want to see the button fold and the short stack go heads up against a random hand.
By moving in, he'll be forced to beat at least 2 other opponents (i.e., assuming the small blind calls for just another 500 and the chance to eliminate 2 players). If I fold and the BB wins, he'll have 1200 on the next hand with 300 in the sb, I'll have 800 with 600 in the BB and I'll obviously be forced to call my last 200. If I move in, and one of the other two players call and beat us both, we split third place. The only way I go broke on this hand is if the BB wins, and another player takes the side pot. Not to mention I have a very strong 4 way hand...

What is the most profitable play?

It's good to hear because I was second guessing myself after I went broke.

Button called with K4o, BB had 10-7. Flop came with two tens, and river was a K.

You have to push this, otherwise the blinds are going to destroy you in the next two hands. You have AQo which is an absolute monster. Sorry you got sucked out on, but you made the right play.

LOL so true. To the OP - if you had had QQ the result would have been the same, and you can't fold QQ here, can you?
