Default How is my play on this set? ($6 turbo)

I'm not sure how to play this hand. Do I raise this flop? I flat called hoping someone would be slowplaying some ace (the $6 people seem to love doing this) and put in a nice-sized check raise. That didnt happen, but I decided it was extraction time on the turn. Is the raise to 300 too small? Also, is the 400 on the river the right sized value bet?

You need to raise the flop. With the FD on board, with four "check"s behind you, the pot is getting WAY too juicy. I would make it t300-400 to go (given a $6, you will likely get your call from the Ace...and maybe a draw - at a much better price of course).

Back to your line.......raise more on the turn. Your turn to act, still 2 others in the hand, facing a pot of t620. I would reraise to t600-700ish. Not a bad place to pick up the pot here. You need to give clear incorrect odds for the draw (had you raised the flop, facing a pot of t1000 or more, it'd be time to push this safe turn).

River - fine, given your line to this point. If the Ace hasn't left now, he's pretty certain to pay you off here. Had you taken a more aggressive approach, we wouldn't have gotten this far.

I usually raise the flop to about 300 there. I dont think you see raises from the people behind you often enough to go for a reraise there.

Slowplaying a set with a two tone flop is a good way to get into trouble, especially with that many opponents.
