Default $55 Steal attempt - make TP

Ok, should I even be attempting to steal this hand? I have a great stack so should I risk it here? When he re-raises it's enticing and not much more to call especially considering I have position.

Now look at this flop. I have TP. If I knock this dude out I have an enormous chip lead and good chance to win.

Did I get lucky here or is it giant spewing of chips, and if it's bad where is the first mistake?

It's a pissing contest with another big stack.

Generally best to avoid those from the beginning, IMHO.

I dont think BB does this typically w/o JJ+, AK. In that case, you got lucky if you won. I wouldnt call the reraise most of the time because I am probably close to even money or worse against the range he does this with...if he's pulling a move, he deserves it.

Stealing is fine, especially because the small stack has already folded. I wouldn't call his reraise. What range would he reraise the chipleader with? Not a very big one in my mind.

Raise less initially. Fold to the raise. Since you didn't you have to call IMO.

Well, if you're going to call the re-raise PF then you have to call this on the flop. If you aren't willing to play for all your chips on the flop when you hit top pair then why are you calling the re-raise PF?
