Default Raise with AA UTG, 6 callers

20-table SNG. People say it is safer to raise than play for a limpraise. Didn't seem that way here.

I would either limp (depending on the table) or raise to 100 at least.

eh. i imagine you won. haven't looked at the results yet, but a player that bets 3000 into a 360 pot and 6 players usually doesnt have AA beat. But always a little nerve racking to see if he flips over some unlikely two pair.

In this kind of tourney, raise more preflop. I would probably go to 80, but you certainly would get action with 100 too. Easy call on the flop. You have decent equity against 2 pair, and this is a $20 tournament.

No wonder you suck at thest 20 table sngs. If you cant win with AA vs 24o you should quit right now.

IMO you are very likely to be behind on the flop & you should fold.
