Recommended webcam?

Looking to buy webcams as Christmas gifts so my kids can have video conversations with their out of town Grandparents. Any recommendations appreciated.

Also, does anyone know if there's a monthly fee on Yahoo messanger to use their webcam feature? Does it require broadband to work properly?

can't recommend anything, don't really do this, but broadband is a must I can tell you that much, ideally not an entry level broadband either, probably something in the $40-50/month arena.
