Villian has been loose and a bit passive so far.

Yeah, calling a preflop raise with KJo when you'll be OOP on the flop is a good idea. Honest.

Aight so you've already got the good advice to fold preflop.

Be very cautious of opponents who raise preflop (especially in EP), check the flop, and then raise you on the turn. That's a line that just oozes of AA/KK. Here's your opponent's thought process:

"Oooh, AA, I raise!" (correct)
"Man, look at that crappy flop. He probably doesn't have a piece, I check." (correct vs aggro opponents, incorrect vs most low level donks that will call with overcards)
"Sweet he bet, now I can raise."

At low limits, that's what his line means. Take a stab on the turn for sure, because he could easily have raised a little PPP, AT+, KJ+, something like that...but I don't think you'll find very many $5.50 opponents who will check behind on the flop and raise the turn with air.
