Default Delay advisor slams Christians!

Due to the scandal where Abramoff and Delay fleeced money from the indians while calling them racist names behind their back, we get to see what kind of memos Delay's aides have been writing.

Apparently, they don't think much of the people who vote for them:

[ QUOTE ]
"The wackos get their information through the Christian right, Christian radio, mail, the internet and telephone trees," Scanlon wrote in the memo, which was read into the public record at a hearing of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. "Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them."

Scanlon confessed the source code of recent Republican electoral victories: target religious conservatives, distract everyone else, and then railroad through complex initiatives.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it speaks for itself. [sarcasm]I'm sure GWB is a very devout man deep down in his heart.[/sarcasm]

*cue onslaught of conservative apologists that will pathetically attempt to explain their way out of this using illogic and ad hominem attacks*

Seriously, it gets ridiculous the way the indefensible gets defended in the forum.

Unlike liberals, conservatives don't have to follow the "party line" (think about the major division among conservatives over Harriet Miers).

Viva disagreement and discussion among conservatives, it makes the movement stronger.

C'mon. Calling your fellow travellers "wackos" is merely "discussion and disagreement". And it makes "the movement™" stronger. Please read Beer's post.

I see at least three of you wacky liberals are scared about the freedom of thought in the conservative movement. You mock most agressively that which you fear.
