Default Blackjack + David Sklansky

I asked this a while ago but never got any responses: in one of his books, the introduction says that David Sklansky is a "professional blackjack and poker player". I was just wondering how anyone could be a "professional blackjack player" if the house will have an edge no matter how well you play?

If you are interested read his books on Getting the best of it and how to become a professional gambler and make $100,000 a year.

The key to winning blackjack is having a counting system, while at the same time not tipping the house off that you are a counter and getting your butt kicked to the street or having them reshuffle the deck.

Also, you will hear alot of talk about how playing blackjack online is losing because there is no way to count the cards as the deck will be shuffled before every hand is dealt.
