Default Party 2k KTs hand against a loosey

Only notes I have is 'loose'. After watching a few hands previously, I have updated my notes to loose-bad. Here's a hand that took place afterwards.

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this bet. It is certainly not a value bet as the villan must give you credit for at least the A and therefore if he doesnt have that beat he will not call that river bet. I understand your bet on the turn but I would prefer a check on the river. You open up yourself to a check raise and then you must fold.

???

I'd be shocked if that's not a value bet on the river.

if hes loose-passive, why bet the turn? do you think he will fold a Q on the turn? 99-JJ? his most likely holdings are probably some mid-pocket, or KQ/QJ/KJ etc.

He might fold a 3 or an 8?

he min-raised pre-flop, i dont think he has a 3 unless it's 33

A8-Q8 is a possibility, but only K8 folds obviously

unless you know something we dont, like he will min-raise with suited connectors or something

of course, he probably folds 44-77

I agree two-fold here... If this villain is "loose-bad" first of all he would have come over the top of the turn bet with any ace. Therefore, when he only calls you can almost take out the risk of the ace.

Also, I don't understand the turn bet itself unless you have an immaculate read on this guy. I think the turn bet is more questionable and dangerous than the river bet. The river bet only leaves you open to him hitting two pair, mayber trips but doubtful, and if he comes over the top you fold and live to play another day.

On the turn bet your representing an ace but knowing that he is a loose-bad player you can almost be certain that if he has any ace here he reraises and you have to shut down...

Of course I could be totally off

Just a read question...

Would he chase a gut shot from the flop with J 10?

I could actually see this type of player min raising preflop with this hand...
