AA comes in many different flavors. You need to decide which ones you are willing to do this with even when you can get a large portion of your stack in. Run some simulations with the worst of them like AA72r and with good ones like AA87ds against some hands you are likely to be up against like 4 in a row straight hands with suits. The more players you add to the sims seeing the flop, the more you will wish you had seen a cheap flop with something like AA72r even when it gets raised behind you.

its only worth it if you can get a good % of your stack in preflop. and i generally wouldn't do it with naked aces, no draw, because it sucks having to play it out of position with a good stack behind you since you're going to miss a lot of flops.
